Where Faith Meets Medicine

Releasing August 2026

A new book for the Christian woman who is tired of being told her exhaustion is normal — and tired of choosing between her faith and her health.

You were never meant to just live with this.

Exhaustion that no amount of sleep fixes. Weight that won't move no matter what you cut. Brain fog. Anxiety. Hormone chaos. Cycles that hijack your month. Labs that come back 'normal' while you keep feeling worse.

You have prayed about it. You have pushed through it. You have been told it's part of being a woman, a mother, a leader. That it's just aging. Just stress. Just life.

It's not.

Your body is not failing you. It is responding exactly as designed to the inputs you are giving it. And there is a better path — one that does not ask you to choose between honoring God and getting real answers about your health.

Clarity in the Chaos

Understand what is actually happening in your body. No more guessing, Googling, or being dismissed.

Faith and Science in Harmony

Care and teaching that honors both biblical wisdom and evidence-based medicine. They were never meant to be opposites.

A Root Cause Approach

Address hormones, gut health, thyroid, fertility, and inflammation at the source — not just the symptoms on the surface.

A nurse practitioner who believes God still heals — and gave you a body designed to heal too.

I'm Courtney Garner, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I've spent nearly two decades in healthcare and more than a decade practicing functional medicine. I've sat across from thousands of women who were told their symptoms were normal. They weren't.

I've also walked it out personally. Gut issues. Infertility. Low thyroid. High stress and a cortisol-pull. Seasons where my own body felt like a stranger. What I learned in that journey — and in my years of clinical practice — became the foundation of this book.

I believe in supernatural healing. I have prayed for miracles, and I have witnessed them. I also believe God invites us into partnership with how He designed our bodies- in perfect preparation for a progressive miracle. Faith and medical wisdom are not opposites. They are collaborators.

“Faith is not denial. Faith is alignment. Faith does not ignore symptoms. Faith asks better questions.”

- Courtney Garner, APRN, CNP

Where Faith Meets Medicine: A Woman's Guide to Health, Hormones, and Longevity

Releasing August 2026

This book is for the Christian woman who is exhausted and ready to ask better questions. It is not anti-medicine. It is not anti-faith. It is the bridge between the two.

The Seven Pillars of Health

Inside, you will learn the seven pillars of health that determine how you feel, how you age, and how well your body can do what God designed it to do:

Faith and mindset

Nutrition — understanding that food is fuel

The three R's — rest, recovery, and rhythm

Hormone and metabolic balance

Movement and strength

Detoxification and cellular health

Connection and community

You will also walk through the root causes of low energy, hormone dysfunction, slow metabolism, and the symptoms most women have been taught to ignore — with the practical tools to actually do something about them.

This book is for you if…

You are a woman of faith and your health feels off, but every test comes back 'normal.'

You're navigating perimenopause, menopause, or postpartum and your body no longer responds the way it used to.

You've been handed prescriptions but no one has asked why your symptoms started in the first place.

You believe God can heal — and you want to understand how to partner with how He designed your body.

You're done waiting passively. You're ready for honest answers and a path you can actually walk.

Book Reviews

  • "Where Faith Meets Medicine makes complex medical concepts easy to understand without oversimplifying them, all while weaving in faith, Scripture, and the healing ministry of Jesus. It opened my eyes to things about health and the human body I'd never considered and deepened my appreciation for God's design. Whether or not you have a medical background, this book offers real insight, wisdom, and encouragement."

  • "Courtney knocked it out of the park with Where Faith Meets Medicine! It's real talk that pulls you in, feeds your spirit, and educates you. After 30+ years in the medical field, it's so refreshing to see someone treat the body, mind, and spirit as one integrated system. Courtney shows us we don't have to age the way our mothers and grandmothers did — this book gives you the knowledge to empower yourself, with a side of encouragement and a big dose of faith!"

  • "Reading Where Faith Meets Medicine felt like sitting down with a trusted friend who helps make sense of the hormonal changes so many women experience. It's more than a book about functional medicine — it's a compassionate guide offering real knowledge without ever feeling overwhelming. As a medical provider, I appreciated the thoughtful, evidence-informed approach and the role of faith in healing. I'd recommend it to any woman seeking both knowledge and hope!"

  • "This is not merely a book about women's health. It's an invitation to understand how deeply God cares about every part of us — body, mind, and spirit — and a reminder that true healing comes from allowing Jesus to meet us in every broken place. Through these pages, you'll be encouraged to listen to your body, honor it as a temple, and surrender every concern to the One who created you with intention and love."

I love that Courtney delves into the “why” behind the health challenges I have to get to the root cause so I can achieve healing and wellbeing. More than a book.

For the women ready to do this work with clinical support, Courtney is also the founder of WellSpot Functional Medicine and WellSpot IV. Two practices built on the same conviction this book is built on: investigate, don't dismiss. Steward, don't suppress.

WellSpot Functional Medicine

Precision root cause care. For women ready to move beyond symptom management and uncover what is truly driving hormone imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, fatigue, and metabolic resistance. Comprehensive testing. Personalized strategy. Clinical excellence.

WellSpot IV

Targeted restoration. Strategic IV therapies designed to replenish, restore, and optimize energy, immunity, and recovery — with medical oversight and intention. Not trendy. Thoughtful.

It was made to heal. The question is not whether God desires healing for you. The question is whether you are willing to receive it and steward it.
